Bhagavad-Gita

Welcome to the Bhagavad-Gita

The Bhagavad-Gita (literally ‘Song of God’) is one of the World’s oldest and most revered books. It is set just before the cataclysmic Battle of Kuruksetra, and consists of a conversation between the warrior-prince Arjuna and his friend Krishna (the supreme personality of Godhead).

The discourse includes discussion on the nature of life, death and the soul, different types of yoga and meditation, karma and action, the nature of the absolute and many more topics.

Starting 9th November 2017, Arjuna Krishna-Das will be giving classes on Bhagavad-Gita every Thursday from 7-9pm at Coleraine Town Hall, the Diamond. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.

For more information, please call Arjuna on 07957 855 442.

There will be no class on Thursday 8 December.

Arjuna is a professional Technical Communicator and published Author. He has served in Krishna temples throughout the UK, Europe and India, studied under a guru (HG Krishna-Kshetra Swami) and lectured on Bhagavad-Gita and other Vedic scriptures since around 1990.
